Motorola SL300

The MOTOTRBO SL300 two-way radio from Motorola Solutions wins Good Design Award

The Good Design Award recognises cutting-edge product designs from around the world. The award was presented to Motorola Solutions by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

The SL300’s push-to-talk radio design, width and weight gained it the recognition. Motorola have identified the radios audio quality and its MOTOTRBO features, necessary for ‘essential’ day-to-day two-way radio communications, as being some of its most useful functionalities.

The SL300 can work with digital or analogue technology and has an Active View display (a matrix of LEDs behind the radio housing to communicate radio information) and shuts off when not in use to conserve battery. It includes a side volume control, a power button, a push-to-talk button and a top toggle channel switch. Additional features include Range Max technology, an ‘advanced’ radio design and a patented antenna to deliver enhanced range while maintaining a slim profile and long battery life.
